About us

REturn was established in 2017 by Mr. Enrico Signori in partnership with Mr. Umberto Borghesi as an independent investment, asset management and advisory firm that invests directly or in partnership with third parties investors.

REturn achieves interesting risk-adjusted returns mainly through the acquisition of assets that are performing, sub-performing or non-performing targeting a diverse range of opportunities across all areas of real estate, including both debt and equity products.

REturn has been so far focusing on distressed assets, uncompleted projects and buildings to be heavily refurbished, therefore exploiting the best opportunities that arise from the current Italian real estate market.



REturn invests directly or in partnership with third parties, in the Italian real estate sector providing full-process management for special purpose investment vehicle.
We can promote club deal for specific investments.

Asset management

REturn provides real-estate asset management services to meet the requirements of institutional/private clients providing assistance in order to identify the best strategies to add value to the investment.
REturn's team is completed by international business specialist network highly experienced in various real estate asset classes.


REturn provides assistance to institutional/private clients defining and implementing business plans as well as achieving their investment objectives, evaluating the motivation, timing and pricing expectations.

Umberto Borghesi


Florentine entrepreneur with 35 years of experience in the Asset Management sector.

  • His Alma Grande SA (a Luxembourg holding company) owns 100% of Albemarle Asset Management, a boutique Investment Management company based in London.
  • Chief Investment Officer of Albemarle Asset Management (AUM: 300 million) that manages two Irish fund: Atlante Funds Plc (Ucits Fund) and AAM Alpha Funds (AIF Fund).

He has received various awards, including:

  • "Premio Alto Rendimento 2015 and 2016" assigned in Milan by Il Sole 24 ORE for the category "Azionario Euro Italia"
  • "HFM European Awards 2015", assigned in London as "Best Global Macro Fund (under $500m)".

He has fifteen years experience in business administration, corporate finance, debt restructuring and administrative/technical real estate.

He is predominantly focused on workout strategy and urban planning.

He is a chartered accountant and a practicing auditor.

He has over five-year of experience in asset management of real estate.

He is a master teacher in Economic and Real Estate Master at the Tor Vergata University in Rome and he collaborates with the University of Florence .
